We present a research which objective is to know the perception that the
Primary Education students of the University of Salamanca have about
their digital competence. We have followed a quantitative methodology, a
non-experimental method and descriptive one and the questionnaire has
been used in order to get data. There have been a total of 52 out of 57
students. The results obtained show that the majority feels ready to use
ICT´s in their teaching-learning process, against other investigations
that show that teachers self-evaluate themselves as not ready to use the
ICT´s that they have in their teaching institutions.
